MURDER YOUR ASSOCIATES

HARIBO BLING

A-Trak - Dirty South Dance 2 by Hypetrak

This year I gave up loud music so that I could write/study better. But this is what I listen to whenever I'm walking/commuting/doing the dishes. Thank you A-Trak

V&A MUSEUM

Every time i go to the Victoria & Albert Museum it feels like I'm going there for the first time, which is probably why I love it so much. Went to see the Yohji Yamamoto exhibition which was... really harshly lit and full of fashion student types. Half the exhibition pieces were actually displayed around the museum outside of the main exhibition hall(which is surprisingly small), and finding them required a bit of navigational skills. It's likely that YY's work is better appreciated in a stark setting but I kind of like how his clothes stand out against the V&A's museum interiors.

Anyway that day we walked around the ceramics section. The contemporary ceramic art pieces are really pretty.

They are currently doing an exhibition about Aestheticism which I have to go see after my exams :(

p.s. the V&A museum cafe is gr8

INCAPACITATION WEEKEND

When you're already on spring holiday, Bank holidays are just an inconvenience. Now that all the libraries are closed my productivity is shot. Currently reading thingsweveeaten and wikitravel pages for Brussels and Antwerp when I should really be reading The Republic

pix from when wz was in London visiting which makes me a bit sad now:

1. Yam's and his girlfriend
2. Wz and his girlfriend
3. Koya has great tempura. Going early = no queue
4. Outside British Art Show at the Hayward Gallery. I really like the South Bank area
5. Buying pork belly sandwiches at Borough Market's Roast yum
6. Burgers at Byron. Nice reliable place. It kind of reminds me of OverEasy(in Singapore). This was before I knocked over the milkshake which was just as well because it was way too much for the two of us(thankfully they were really nice about it).

WHAT THEY DIDN'T TELL US THEN

apparently, right now, my friends and i are becoming the people that we are going to be for the rest of our lives.

if to be young is to be changeable and free, why do i feel like there's already so much i'll never be?
