fleeting fragrance of the camphor trees

Just got back to Singapore from Taipei so this all seems a bit far away in the past already, but on 7th June I moved out of Scala House and thus ended the fun-est/happiest/weirdest living situation I have ever/will ever be in.

London seems pretty nice and cool, and before you even think about it you've already fallen in love with her

life in boxes

things i NEED to do before i leave london

- finish packing all my clothes/books/shoes/bags/appliances

- move all the stuff to friend's flat

- donate bitchloads of clothes to the charity shops on the next street

- last meals with friends

- finish packing my suitcase

- ask/beg SQ for extra baggage

- find an affordable apartment to rent next year

things i WANT to do before i leave london

- see tracey emin at hayward gallery

- then go play in the southbank temp beach and fountains with little kids

- trek around in hampstead heath

- go to the V&A again

- have a picnic on my balcony

okay time starts now

SUMMERTIME 4REAL

crunching feelings of doom in my tummy and emptiness in my soul have been temporarily replaced/filled with steak and packing anxiety

TO HELL AND BACK

my apartment won't shut up

frustration

it is not enough to just be

i must keep expecting more from myself, more than anybody else ever will. if i don't swim harder i will eventually drown...

things just aren't terribly fun these days, but reading philosophy gives me peace.

DONE WITH ECONOMICS. I have a philosophy exam in 10 days. Last night I got refused entry to a casino because I didn't have photo ID. Today we went to Store Street Espresso, checked out hipsters, talked about the future, ate sushi for dinner and now the guys are bitching at each other over Scrabble.
